Stephanie Gildart

Stephanie Gildart is a Maine native who resides in South Portland with her
husband Brian, their young son, Alexander, and their rescue pup, Bates.
Stephanie attended Western New England University, where she earned her
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and numerous accolades playing
collegiate field hockey. After graduating, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts
where she began an extensive career in marketing at digital advertising
agencies before returning to her beloved home state in 2011. Currently, Stephanie
serves the clean energy industry as a Marketing Manager for Diversified
Communications.
The importance of community involvement was instilled in her at a young age and
continues to play a pivotal role in her life. She has served on various committees
and volunteered her time at organizations including United Way of York County
Day of Caring Committee, American Heart Association Go Red for Women York
County Planning Committee, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine, and
Maine Needs.
In 2023, with the support of family and friends, Stephanie founded Sophia’s
Healing Hearts, a program created in memory of her infant daughter and heart
angel, Sophia Margaux. The fabric hearts bring familiar and comforting scents to
NICU and PICU patients whose families and caregivers can’t always be by their
bedside. Sophia’s Healing Hearts are available at Maine Medical Center,
Massachusetts General Hospital and area hospitals in Albany, New York.
Team Sophia’s Healing Hearts joined the New England Congenital Heart Walk in
2023 and has since raised over $54,000. Stephanie is inspired by the work of The
Children’s Heart Foundation and is honored to serve as the Activities Chair and
Maine Representative for the New England Region Council.
