Nancy Ghanayem, MD, MS

Dr. Nancy Ghanayem serves as the director of Complex Cardiac Care, Critical Care, and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children’s Hospital and professor of pediatrics, Section of Critical Care, Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Ghanayem has a variety of CHD research interest areas, including univentricular heart disease, perioperative care/monitoring, ventricular assist devices, outcomes, and neurodevelopment. Her clinical interests lie in intensive care medicine, perioperative cardiac care, complex medical care, univentricular heart disease, transitional care, and health care quality.
