Tom McGrath was born and raised in Boston, MA and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern New Hampshire University. His experience has largely been in the development, communications space, including years of service to nonprofits such as the South Shore YMCA, Room to Grow, and Steps to Success Brookline. Prior to joining the CHFNE chapter, Tom was an avid supporter of the organization and so impressed with the work it's done for congenital heart defect research, and equally excited to advance those efforts once he came aboard. Tom’s primary professional motivators are the causes he cares about, and he is always working to secure the resources and relationships they need to be successful.
