Kristin’s daughter, Olivia, was born in 2008 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Sadly, Olivia passed away at only 6 weeks of age.  Kristin was inspired to fight for those living with congenital heart defects, and for families who had lost their own loved ones.  She participated in the Congenital Heart Walk in 2012, and was on the planning committee for the 2013 walk.  In 2013, Kristin was invited to join the board for The Children’s Heart Foundation Ohio, and was elected Vice President of the Ohio chapter in 2014. Kristin is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University and received her BS in Allied Health specializing in Respiratory Therapy.  She is currently working for American Health Network as an asthma and COPD clinic coordinator.  Kristin and her husband, Nick, have a happy and healthy 4 year old boy Aidan.
