Sloane's Ride supports the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs) by funding the most promising research.
Our family lost our daughter Sloane to complications associated with congenital heart defects in October 2017. Sloane’s twin brother Lincoln loves to ride his bike. In fact, our whole family loves cycling. In the spirit of action and activism we are committed to keeping her memory alive by inviting you to join us in this virtual cycling event. Please dedicate a bike ride to Sloane. Because part of this event is virtual you can choose your own location, start time, and distance! We know that this event will raise awareness and will help to fund research that gives other babies a chance at survival.
If you don’t have a bike, you can choose your own way to participate and join us to raise money for the most promising CHD research. You can walk, run, hike, swim or get around in another way wherever you are! Register as an individual, form a team, or make a donation! Please feel free to take and share photos by emailing them to us at sloanesride@gmail.com and to post on social media using our hashtags:
