Kelly Adduci has worked for the past 15 years in breast cancer research with the University of California, San Francisco. Her work has focused on grant writing, protocol writing, human subject research compliance, and building relationships with outside collaborators. She received a BS in Biology from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Public Health from the George Washington University. Kelly Adduci lives in the Boston suburbs with her husband, daughter (14), and two sons (10 and 8). Her middle son, Jake, was born with congenital complete heart block and has undergone four major surgeries to place and move epicardial pacing systems. He is currently on his fifth pacemaker and looking forward to fifth grade! Through their experiences, Kelly and her family have become involved in various support groups and outreach activities through Boston Children’s Hospital.
