I’ve worked at a 30 year career in the medical field which included heart and vessel studies and then went on to a Real Estate career. I became involved with The Children’s Heart Foundation when my grandson Paxton was born with Tetralogy of Fallot. At that time the California Chapter was forming. Having a grandson born with a congenital heart defect, a mother that was born with an Atrial Septal Defect and a sister that has had a 4 way bypass, heart disease has affected mine and my family’s lives. This opportunity to be actively involved in raising awareness and funds for research to better diagnose, treat and prevent congenital heart defects is both exciting and gratifying. I can think of no better way to give back!
