The Congenital Heart Walk is a way to show the nation how a team of inspired individuals can make a difference. Funds raised support the missions of both these national non-profit organizations who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with congenital heart defects (CHD). It is designed to raise vital funds to help us continue our missions of addressing the needs of both the newly diagnosed and long-term survivors of congenital heart defects.
The first-ever Congenital Heart Walk - Delaware Valley will take place on Saturday, October 23rd at Cooper River Park in Williamson Grove. The Walk will begin at 10:00 am with registration opening at 9:00 am. Overlooking Philadelphia’s skyline, the walk will include both a 1 mile and a 5k fitness route, giveaways, entertainment and refreshments. It truly will be an inspirational day of caring, sharing and fun!
