Motivated by the needs of our children, the goal of The Children’s Heart Foundation is to bring health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects, the number one birth defect in the United States. We accomplish this goal by funding the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.

The web is an exceptional means of informing the public about the important progress of our research as well as being a resource to newly diagnosed families.Through this site, you can also get information on becoming a member of the CHF family. Depending on your interest, you can:

• Support CHF through an individual contribution or through a contribution in honor or in memory of someone special to you
• Work as one of our committed and generous corporate partners
• Volunteer with your local chapter to assist in a variety of projects
• Order a copy of our valuable parent resource book, It’s My Heart
• Plan a fundraiser in your community to support research through CHF

We pledge to keep our website updated because we want you to become a frequent visitor, learning more about the latest research projects funded, identifying the progress of past research funded, getting current information on our fundraising and advocacy efforts, as well as gathering information about the activities of CHF.
